What is the kingdom of God?
People
Not systems of goverment, institutions, or even churches... people.
God wants people, loves people.
Desires them to the point of shedding His own blood.
All of it poured out on the cross.
Whenever you read in the bible of the words "Kingdom of Heaven"
It's all about people.
We are His kingdom, we are His people
All it takes is a mustard seed of faith. It starts small and it grows day by day when it moves toward the light.
Trust Him today and you will begin to transform into a blessed member of His kingdom.
1 John 5:19
"Whoever has the Son has life (unending) and whoever does not have Him does not have life (unending). This means death becomes merely a door not an end.
All the countries, kingdoms, corporations, and systems of the world have an end but His kingdom will have no end.
This is the joyous news of the "gospel."
Imagine the joy Jesus had declaring it to the world.
Luke 4:43, Jesus speaks of how the Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached in more places and towns. He then commissions 70 of His followers and greatly rejoices in the Holy Spirit upon hearing their report, Luke 10:21.
This was still the heart of our LORD even as He was drawing closer to cross in Matthew 24.
"And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole earth... "
Seeking His kingdom means living and sharing the good news that investing your heart in the person of Jesus is the way to eternity, the way to life, the way to completeness.
