Exodus 2:23
" During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. "
And God does hear us and our cries to Him.
Psalm 56:8
" You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. "
But there is a time of waiting on Him, learning to trust Him at your lowest point that refines you, makes you more glorious, as He is.
2 Corinthians 3:16-18
" But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. "
These verses are loaded with teaching points but the point I want to emphasize is how turning to The Lord our veils are taken away and we are granted freedom in our spirits. The freedom "to hope in Him" and contemplate His glory and this process transforms us.
His deliverance from trouble is not something we seek half heartedily. It is something that is poured out daily before Him.
When His deliverance becomes a priority in your life, the Gospel of Christ becomes the sweetest and most blessed news you'll ever hear.
Psalm 119:103
" How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! "
Be blessed and seek Him in your times of trouble always!
