Fragile Hearts

The reality is that most of us have struggles. Paul himself, writes "I do what I don`t want and that I don`t want to do I do" and "who will rescue me from this body of death, thanks be to God for Christ Jesus..."
The heart takes a lot of stress with this inner battle going on within the Christian. The blood of Christ and the relationship we have to the Father through Christ makes healing and restoration available to us.

The story of David is a moving account of God`s hand on an individual. What we can learn is that not everything David did was perfect in his life, but whenever he messed up his heart did not become hard, but was soon broken before the LORD. His heart was strong before man, but before His God it was so easily broken. God was truly a "Father" figure to Him. He feared the LORD and loved the LORD in a way that is an example for all of us.

Let us continue to be fragile before Him. And if we have sinned against Him, let us confess it and let Him have mercy on us. His anger may last a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime. Amen.
